Blackberry Curve 8900 VS. iPhone

I recently purchased the new Blackberry Curve 8900 and I'm quite happy with it. I discovered the Blackberry on a trip to the French Alps and I kept sending emails to my girlfriend in New York thru my friends account and i fell in love with the device. Ive gone thru about 10 different models since then.
I also have a fondness for Apple products. Wherein lies the problem. Im a die hard Mac geek to the fullest extent but when it comes to the iPhone they havent won me over yet. I think its a great product and it has its pluses but Im sticking with my Curve. I was recently in San Francisco for business and met a few friends for dinner. The dinner table was filled with iPhones. At the table were about 4 Apple employees and some fashion and music people. Everyone had an iPhone but me. I proudly pulled my Curve out and wrote a quick text. One of the guys said "Do you hear that noise? what is that? oh its buttons being pressed haaa haa" Everyone at the table chuckled. My reply was simple
I said "I seem to remember the motto that Apple had it was "THINK DIFFERENT" and everyone i see here tonight thinks the same" The table was quite after that.

Hahaha... I love your come back (I think I might use it). My contract renews this month and I was looking to change plans to get an iPhone or keep my plan and get the Curve 8900. Thanks for reminding me why I love Blackberry!

I get 4x more shit done on my BB Bold than my iPhone. The iPhone is gorgeous, but without copy/paste or email search functionality, it's no more than a quasi-useful piece of tech fetish.

Wassup Shadi?!!!!

yup after poking, literally, poking at the speed of nothing on iphones of several friends, very happy to hand it back to them and continue with trusty blackberry curve. one friend nervously offered -- well the keyboard takes some getting used to -- and u can't do this and that -- and then the thing froze in the middle of browzing. later dropped call. but the apps are great freind sez hopefully ... and i'm thinking when the phone isn't a frozen brick that is.

Man... i had an iPhone and a Curve 8900 in my hands for two weeks and i'm agree with you. The Curve works anytime, anywhere while the iphone dies in 4 hours without battery. I prefere the curve too!
