Skate Day in NY 2008
I ventured out this day to document the NY City Skater turnout and to my surprise it was a lot more culturally diverse than had ever expected. My own son who skates is Puerto Rican and Korean but the amount of Black and Hispanic kids skating blew my mind. The kids were super sweet and willing to talk and be photograpahed. Just meeting a handful of them brightened my day.
