I was lucky enough to tag along on a Labor day gathering of Toyota Land Cruiser owners in upstate NY. I rode along with long time friend and owner of Brooklyn Machine Works Joe Avedesian. After a day with these incredible rides im sold in that these trucks out the box are what you want to have if you are stuck in the middle of nowhere.

80 series power. If you're international you may want to look into a newer model diesel 70-series, or find a diesel 80 at least.
yay. let's burn too much gas, pollute the forest and make a lot of noise. way to go shadi!
Wow that was fun burning all that gas lets see we used about 3-5 gallons on private land over 5 hours and all the trucks had street legal exhaust. Hmmm so loud i could hear the grass i stepped on crack. Oh please everyone has something to say about everything. Unless you are actually doing something to save the environment besides sitting at home using a computer looking at blogs commenting then save it.

I can see we have detractors in all countries, he's probably using his computer with the air conditioning on....
@David: I fail to see how "actually doing something to save the environment besides sitting" is mutually exclusive with "using a computer looking at blogs commenting".
